Crate and Barrel:

We are looking for a motivated Store Supervisor to join our Crate and Barrel store in Mall of Emirates, Dubai. 

Job Brief:
  • Achieve excellent standards of customer service in the department by directing and coaching the sales team, and leading by example on the shop floor.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively escalating only the crucial ones to the Store Manager for appropriate redressal.
  • Ensure that company standards of grooming, presentation and professional conduct are set and maintained.
  • Motivate team members  to achieve shared goals and acknowledge team and individual successes
  • Provide on the job training and induction to new staff in order to integrate them to the team.
  • Support the Store Manager in development of the team.
  • Monitor the stock in the department and inform the Store Manager of any depleting stocks, stock loss to take corrective action.
  • Ensure the store is merchandised commercially and visually as per the guidelines provided by Store Manager
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping wrt clean and organized wrap stands, fitting rooms and stock areas.
  • Constantly seek new opportunities to drive and create additional sales.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of cash, floats and petty cash.
  • Manage the PoS system, including amendments, trouble shooting and error logging.
  • Analyse stock management information available to ensure sales opportunities are maximized.
  • Ensure goods received into and dispatched from store are checked and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Manage stock takes in store in liaison with the Store Manager.
  • Take full responsibilities of the store operations in absence of the Store Manager.
Person Specification:
  • Graduate with tertiary qualifications in Sales & Marketing
  • Computer literate
  • Exposure to multi cultural working environments
  • Previous supervisory/management experience in Fashion Retail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English; Knowledge of Arabic advantageous
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
