Job Brief:
  1. Formulate a Visual Merchandising Strategy which is in keeping with the image and standards of the brands represented and present it to the Brand principals/ General Manager for sign off, along with projected budget requirements.
  2. Prepare the Visual Display calendar for all the brands taking into consideration seasonal requirements, promotions, brand specific activities, discuss with the relevant departments to ensure its effective implementation.
  3. Conduct regular store visits and liaise with the store staff to carry out the merchandising in the stores.
  4. Coach/ guide the store personnel about the importance of visual merchandising/ awareness, through delivering training sessions on Visual Merchandising, by coordinating the training and role out of the Center Of Excellence on a quarterly basis for both brands.
  5. Ensure the standards of visual merchandising are being maintained in all the stores.
  6. Research on trends in visual displays and merchandising techniques in the regional and international markets and propose new/ innovative ideas to ensure the brand presence is in line with the international trends and standards but at the same time reflects regional flavor.
  7. Manage the launch process through the GCC stores as agreed with cross functions.
  8. Weekly communication to both brands.
  9. Translate the brands window directives to accommodate localization and maximize opportunities in flagship locations, seek for brands approval before execution.
  10. Manage and guide the team to perform their duties in an efficient and optimal manner.
Person Specification:
  • Graduate with additional qualifications or specialization in Design
  • A strong portfolio of previous work
  • Project Management exposure
  • Computer literacy with emphasis on Photoshop, Auto Cad and related design softwares
  • Driving license
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • 5 to 8 years relevant experience with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity for a large fashion retailer.
