Job Brief:
  • Steer financial performance by analysis and presenting monthly results and forecasts and recommending actions for achieving budget KPIs.
  • Support business teams in making value adding quality financial decisions
  • Lead and compile annual budgets in line with agreed business strategy and KPIs by interacting cross functionally with cross functional stake holders
  • As a key member of the business unit executive team, prepare 5 year business plan aligned with the business strategy approved by the Board
  • Prepare feasibility of new investments and share analysis of old investments for understanding key learnings and improve robustness of future investments
  • Prepare business cash flow to ensure optimal utilisation and availability of funds for meeting operational and investment needs
  • In coordination with operations team, manage inventory ordering and working capital needs
  • Implement policies defined by the Board and improve controls and business processes to optimise efficiency and eliminate waste
  • Participate in negotiations with third parties to agree commercial terms at competitive prices and ensure company's exposure, interest and risk is protected
  • Develop technical and competency level of subordinate staff by providing them necessary training and exposure and seeking their participation in special projects
Person Specification:
  • Professional qualification in Finance and Accounting (preferably CA).
  • Good understanding of various aspects of accounting and finance as well as operations.
  • Commercial acumen and negotiating ability.
  • Communication skills - written and spoken.
  • Around 10 years work experience, with a few years at a managerial/supervisory level.
