Job Brief:
  • Monitor the implementation of sales strategies and ensure its compliance in order to achieve/exceed sales targets.
  • Reviews previous days' sales figures and take proactive initiatives to ensure sales targets are met. Monitor KPI's and sell thru by category to ensure budgets are achieved. Compliance of the company's administrative policies and procedures by all staff, to facilitate smooth and efficient.
  • Constantly seek new opportunities to drive and create additional sales. Promote link/cross selling to ensure every sale is maximized.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellent customer service, leading by example on the sales floor. Ensure every staff adheres to standards of excellent customer service at all times, meeting and exceeding customer needs.
  • Deal with customer complaints effectively and promptly and ensure appropriate resolution of the same.
  • Direct, coach, support and delegate to the team, monitoring their performance to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure that HN standards of grooming, presentation and professional conduct are maintained.
  • Maintain optimum stock levels through monitoring stock and placing orders. Monitor compliance with stock in and transfer procedures and manage stock takes in liaison with Floor Sales Manager.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of tills, floats and petty cash.
  • Manage the PoS system, including amendments, trouble shooting and error logging.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Floor Manager wrt sales performance, promotional activities, customer and buying feedback, providing suggestions and recommendations to improve the sales performance.
  • Keep abreast of all recent trends and developments in the industry and gather market intelligence with a view to stay ahead of competition.
Person Specification:
  • Graduate with tertiary qualifications in Sales & Marketing
  • Computer literate
  • Good command of English ; Knowledge of Arabic advantageous
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to multi cultural working environments an advantage
  • 5 to 6 years' retail sales experience or in customer service roles.
