Job Brief:
  • Contribute to strategies for marketing and brand management activities, ensuring results are directly related to the overall business plan.
  • Implement Marketing plans whilst ensuring compliance to marketing budgets to enhance brand image leading to further customer enrollment and satisfaction.
  • Monitor brand performance within business unit and work closely with Principals, Retail Managers and MCD team to ensure that the overall brand performance and image is consistent and in line with company and principle expectations
  • Ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to wrt to advertising, press office activities, events, production materials etc as required by the Principals.
  • Arrange for the advertising materials from the Principals for the available/existing products /collections and coordinate with the Media team and Retail Managers to ensure the media plans are implemented on time and in line with the brand advertising campaign.
  • Propose concepts for events and in conjunction with Events and PR team and ensure they are carried out as per the agreed proposal and time frame.
  • Liaise with the Press Office to update the brand profiles and provide any materials from the Principals to support the PR initiatives.
  • Organize production of branding materials required for promotional activities, store openings etc and ensure timely delivery to stores.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and map competitors' activities vis a vis communication, pricing, marketing strategy in relation to the brands.
  • Gather reports on events and press office activities from the MCD team and present the information to the Principals and Line Managers.
  • Provide periodic reports and analysis to the Marketing Ops Manager on the marketing initiatives.
Person Specification:
  • Graduate in any discipline, preferably Business Administration with tertiary qualifications in Marketing.
  • Computer Literacy
  • Good communication, & inter-personal skills
  • Well organized and flexible
  • 2 to 3 years relevant experience
