Mewan Wickramesinghe joined Al Tayer Motors in September 2002 as a Service
Advisor. Born and brought up in Dubai, Mewan pursued his Bachelors is
Automotive Systems Engineering in London. During this period he landed himself
an internship with Al Tayer Motors, where he gained the much required hands-on
experience. On completion of the degree course, he was absorbed by the company
for a full-time role. Mewan is currently the Workshop Manager for Jaguar and
Land Rover brands at the Sheikh Zayed Road Branch.
" Over the years I have grown with the company. In terms of business, the
company has grown twelve fold in the last three years and expanded from a
single location to multiple locations in multiple cities. When I moved to the

My personal growth rate over the past three to four years has been very
rapid. Looking ahead I would like to take on a larger responsibility; managing
an area rather than a location is a challenge I look forward to. I want my
company and my career to continue progressing at the current rate. "
