"The induction programme was my first insight into the significant size of
the Group, which made me realise how fortunate I was to be a part of it."
Evageline Cabauata joined the Al Tayer Group in April 2006, as the first female Project
Engineer. Handling three or four projects at any given time, Evageline is
entrusted with the role of implementing the scope of works in a timely manner
as specified in the contract. She is also responsible for the allocation of
manpower and materials, ensuring that there are sufficient materials on site.

"I love being an engineer; an engineer is a problem solver. Whenever
we have a situation on site that needs to be addressed, finding a solution for
it gives me great pleasure and a sense of achievement. The most important challenge for me is to meet my
deadline, which is what I ensure leaving no room for excuses.
In 2006, I was working in America as a Project Engineer, and on a visit to
Dubai I decided to apply at Aati Contracts. The induction programme was my first insight into the significant size of the Group, which made me realise how fortunate was I to be a part of it. "
